The Thursday Pause
Embrace procrastination

Heeyyy there Remori People,
Here’s what I’ve discovered this week: our procrastination isn’t random. It’s actually our subconscious trying to create space for what genuinely matters—we just haven’t learned to decode the message yet.
That urge to clean, organize, or wander? It might be your mind’s way of clearing the clutter so you can focus on what’s truly important. The trick is learning to listen.
You know that feeling when everything looks fine on paper, but something inside keeps whispering “there’s got to be more than this”? That’s not dissatisfaction talking. That’s curiosity knocking.
Building on this week’s Monday Reset about being stuck, here are three ways to let that restlessness guide you toward what you’re actually seeking:
1️⃣ Question Your Defaults
Try this: Pick one routine you do automatically every day—maybe it’s checking emails first thing, taking the same route to work, or ordering your usual coffee.
For the next three days, deliberately do it differently. Not to prove anything, just to see what happens when you break your own pattern.
The goal isn’t to find a “better” way—it’s to wake up the part of your brain that’s been on autopilot.
2️⃣ Chase What Sparks You
Try this: Notice what you find yourself reading about or watching videos about when you’re supposed to be doing something else. That random rabbit hole? That’s your curiosity trying to tell you something.
Instead of fighting it, give it 15 minutes of intentional attention. Ask yourself: What is it about this topic that keeps pulling me back?
Sometimes our procrastination patterns are actually breadcrumbs leading us toward what we really want to explore.
3️⃣ Follow What Lights You Up
Try this: For one day, pay attention to your energy levels during different activities. Notice when you feel drained versus when you feel genuinely engaged.
That project that makes time disappear? That conversation that leaves you buzzing with ideas? Those aren’t accidents—they’re clues about where your authentic interests live.
Your restlessness might just be your way of saying you’re ready to spend more time in those energy-giving spaces.
