The Thursday Pause

Growth Without the Rush

Hey there Remori People,

Hyvää Vappua! Happy May Day!

As Finland celebrates today, I'm thinking about transitions. Winter releases its grip as spring arrives, reminding us that nature never rushes growth.

I saw this same pattern earlier this week when I finished my spring course lectures. Instead of just feeling relief, I found myself curious about how students will transform these ideas in their presentations.

Sometimes we plant seeds and wait.

Today, I'm sharing three simple practices to help you grow without the rush.

Three Pause Moments for Intentional Growth

1️⃣ The Education Pause

Try this: Before evaluating results, take five minutes to consider the learning process. What surprised you? What questions emerged?

This helps you notice growth that isn't immediately visible.

2️⃣ The Hospitality Lens

Try this: In your next conversation, use the "human-centric approach" – focus on the person, not the task. Listen first, then respond.

This often reveals insights you'd otherwise miss.

3️⃣ The Growth Check-In

Try this: Before ending your day, note one thing that grew today that wasn't on your list. Maybe a relationship, an idea, or a question.

"Life is black and white; Remori adds the color."

As we close our Growth month on this festive day, we're seeing that the best growth happens in these pauses – when we make room for it to unfold naturally.

Join our community and spread the word!

Until next Thursday, Joel & Toni
